Dragon Quest: The Mark of Erdrick summary:
Seven years ago, monsters possessed the king of Carmen, leading to the downfall of the kingdom at the hands of evil hordes. The only survivors were Arus, the king's son, and Lunafrea, the daughter of the army general. In Loran, a newborn was given the name "Jyagan" on the Dark Lord Imagine's command. Despite Arus being just and fair, Jyagan aligned with the malevolent forces. Arus and Lunafrea, with the heroic blood of Roto within them, set out on a mission to defeat the monsters and restore peace to the world.
